Desjardins mixed development area

The site was certified as an eco-district by the Ministry of Ecology in 2014.
The project won the Sustainable Urban Planning Department Award and also received the gold medal for Landscape Awards
On the site of the former barracks, a new district was created in the heart of Angers. A park was also laid out for the benefit of all residents, in order to create a socializing space, but also a place to live, to play and to relax. This project is designed jointly with the population.
The key goals of the project are:
• to create an animated park, a place to live, with spaces for recreation and relaxation, acting as a catalyst for social relations,
• to conceive an area of functional, social, urban and landscape diversity,
• to imagine a variety of urban and architectural forms.
